About THE ARTIST
"I am Mim and these are my victims."
The name Mims Victims was created in 2013, when artist Mariam Heijne started taking neglected porcelain dolls and turned them into unique gloomy creations; victims of a disturbing world and the people in it. Since 2016 she has been making one of a kind mixed media sculptures also known as art dolls. Her current work can be best described as dark, yet adorable. Sad figures with a look in their eyes that is asking for a friend to comfort them. Happier characters include carved pumpkin dolls, to celebrate the happiest time of the year. Every single doll is unique and handmade from head to toe.
Heijne was born and raised in Holland, but is currently based in Sweden, where she sells her work online to customers from all over the world. Heijne also openly shares her process in video form and guides those new to world of sculpting and doll making.
