This bear is part of my UPCYCLED series! I take unwanted plushies and give them a new life. Did you know I started my doll making journey by modifying neglected porcelain dolls back in 2014? So this is right up my alley!

It cannot sit well on its own (could topple over), but it can lean against a wall or something else and also looks very cute in a mug or small bowl. Does not come with a doll stand. The stuffing of the body has not been altered in any way, so it's lightweight (but a little top heavy). The bear has been washed and dyed by Mim, it was originally light brown (that's why the red shade is more muted this time). The collar can come off, it closes in the back with velcro.
 
The face is hand sculpted with white epoxy clay, painted with acrylics. Be careful, sharp objects or rough surfaces could chip the paint. This is an art doll and is not meant to be played with. Horns are made of black epoxy clay.
 
The clay face cannot be removed and therefore can only be washed up to the neck or dry cleaned. Before modifying it, the teddy was washed with a neutral soap. Patches are glued on with high quality textile glue. Has very soft fur!
