This creation is part of my UPCYCLED series! I take unwanted plushies and give them a new life. Did you know I started my doll making journey by modifying neglected porcelain dolls back in 2014? So this is right up my alley!

Made with vegan materials except for the black straps which are secondhand leather.

This bear has jointed arms and legs, so can be displayed sitting or standing with the arms up or down. Does not come with a doll stand. Can sit up straight on its own without back support. The stuffing of the body has not been altered in any way, so it's lightweight. The bear has been dyed red by me, it was originally light brown. The fur also has some acrylic paint on it, so it feels a bit rougher to the touch (it already felt quite rough after dyeing it).
 
The face is hand sculpted with white epoxy clay, painted with acrylics. Be careful, sharp objects or rough surfaces could chip the paint. This is an art doll and is not meant to be played with.
 
This bear can only be dry cleaned. Before modifying it, the teddy was washed with a neutral soap. Patches are glued on with high quality textile glue. I also made the bow.
